Why was Martha so happy this morning? [br]
W: Morning, dad!
M: Martha, you’re in a good mood today. Any particular reason?
W: Yes, there is actually. I’ve decided to become a millionaire.
M: You’ve decided to become a millionaire. I see. And how exactly do you propose to do that?
W: Well if you can spare a couple of minutes, I’ll tell you.
M: Martha, you know how precious my time is ...
W: Dad, I promise you it will be worth your while.
M: Oh, OK. But just five minutes, or else I’ll be late for work.
W: Right. I’ve got this idea from a website ...
M: Oh, come on. You’re wasting your time if you think you can make money out of the Internet. All the best ideas have been used up! You should be using your time more profitably and getting a proper job ...
W: I promise you it’s not some half-baked idea. It’s something I’ve been chewing over for the last few weeks. Please just have a look at these plans and then tell me what you think.
M: Hm, yes, interesting. There’s certainly food for thought here. How are you going to find the money to do it?
W: Ah, well, I was rather hoping you might help me. Will you?
M: Well, I can’t tell you until I’ve had time to digest all this information. But you’ve certainly got a good idea. Very original.
W: But we’re running out of time! If we don’t do it very soon, somebody else will.
M: Yes, you could be right. Look, I’ve got to go now, but as soon as I get back from work I’ll spend the rest of the evening looking at it. Have you told your idea to anybody else?
W: No, not yet.
M: Well, don’t tell anyone. I think you’ve really got something here.
