    The charts show the results of a survey of adult education. Chart 1 gives their reasons for study and chart 2 shows how they think the costs of each course should be paid. From chart 1, we can see that 40% of people engage in study because they are interested in the subject. People who want to gain qualifications through study take up 38% , ranking the second. Next there follow the people who want to benefit and promote their work by further study. And those who want to meet people and change the jobs only account for 21% together. In chart 2, we can see that they hold the view that the fee should be shared among the taxpayers, employers and themselves, with the separate percentage of 25% , 35% and 40%.
    From the two charts, we can draw the conclusion that adult education is important and necessary both for the benefit of the company and the individuals themselves.
