   According to stipulations (约定) of the L/C (letter of credit), the goods should be shipped not later than September 15, Although we have been making great efforts to book shipping on time, but much to our regret, we were told by the shipping companies contacted that there would be no steamship before September because of the bad weather.

Since this is an urgent matter, please amend (修正，修订) the L/C by cable. Your compliance (遵从，顺从) with our requests will be highly appreciated.
