Dear Susan,
   I don’t know how to thank you enough for the biographical dictionary, which arrived this morning. It was such a happy surprise. I’ve been longing to have one for a long time. Now I don’t have to go to the library every time I need to find out certain facts about somebody. It means such convenience to my work.
   It’s very kind of you to send me this. And I appreciate it more than I can say.
