    In response to your advertisement in yesterday’s Time Educational Supplement, I would like to apply for the job of teaching English. I enclose a copy of my resume, a letter of recommendation from my current employer and copies of relevant certificates.
    As you will see from my resume, I have been teaching English to groups of adults of mixed nationality for the past two years. I have taught students at all levels and I am experienced in preparing students for external exams.
