    Good manners mean polite behaviors, following the social etiquettes which are tacitly agreed upon by its society.
    Good manners are of profound significance to both individual and society. In a narrow view, good manners can render a person elegant, refined, and easy to like. A well-mannered person can make the people around him/her feel comfortable and pleased. In a broad view, good manners can make great contributions to the harmony of a society. We can’t deny human’s irreconcilable differences in philosophy, politics or religion. Good manners can, though not eradicate them, disguise those antipathies that arise. Otherwise, our society would be plunged into chaos.
    In order to keep the social wheels spinning smoothly, we should standardize good manners and educate people to perform accordingly.
