Dear Schoolmates,
    It’s my great honor and pleasure to inform you that XYZ University will hold the 100th anniversary celebration on 16th October 2006, it is a new milestone in the development of XYZ University. On behalf of the University, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you, my honorable guest, to attend our grand celebration.
During the past century, several generations of the staff and students in the university have made great efforts to promote the university’s development and have made tremendous achievements. XYZ University is now one of the most prestigious comprehensive universities in China and our graduates have contributed a great deal to the society in whatever field they do.
