    Why is this concept increasingly drawing people’s attention? The reasons are multiple. First, there are growing signs showing the scarcity of energy and resources. What can we leave our following generations to live on if we don’t reserve the limited resources? Second, the world is being polluted more and more seriously with every passing day. We would be ashamed of passing on a dirty earth to our kids. Third, people come to realize that global effort is required to tackle the problem, which calls for some striking slogan to unite and encourage people.
    As college students, we can engage ourselves in two aspects. First, we should realize that low-carbon life is not only a kind of lifestyle but also life attitude. Second, we are supposed to advocate the concept of low-carbon life among people and start this practice from scratch, such as energy saving, water saving.
