    In the present society, every individual makes an endeavor to pursue a higher living standard; but on the road to it, it’s inevitable to be confronted with the crossing road in life. Thus perseverance or giving up is a common dilemma we meet in daily life.
    Some people put a high value on perseverance, never giving up. It is self-evident that perseverance contributes to success. So they hold that if you feel like victory, you are supposed to be persistent on what you are clinging to. However, there are people who pay more attention to being capable of choosing and giving up in due course. From their perspective, opportunities will disappear in a blink and it’s a waste of time if you still stick to it when there seems to be no hope.
    As I see it, both are of vital significance. We should persevere in what we have chosen and give up what is unrealistic. Only in this way can we cultivate an aggressive and rational character and achieve a bright future.
