    Some people approve of it. On the one hand, it is believed that better looks will help stars become more impressive and thus more popular. On the other hand, people tend to consider beauty a crucial part of a perfect star. However, some others think it is unnecessary for stars to take plastic surgery. For one thing, it is professional competence instead of appearance that is essential for stars. And efforts should be made to improve the competence. For another thing, stars may suffer a lot both physically and mentally from the high-risk plastic surgery.
    In my opinion, although appearance is important for stars, professional competence plays a more significant role. Stars do not have to take plastic surgery to become popular. In any case, hard-working is the only way to success.
