    Nowadays we have heard too much about fake diplomas on and off campus. Especially in several big cities, fake diplomas are even more popular.
    In current society, employers put too much emphasis on diplomas, and thus those who have been dreaming of gaining favorable working opportunities take risks to buy fake ones even at high prices. Undoubtedly, fake diplomas are extremely harmful to our society in that they deprive the job market of fairness.
    We should call on every person to battle with this notorious phenomenon. First, we should punish the producer, the seller and the buyer of the fake diploma as severely as we can. By put ting them in court and prosecuting them, we can deter other people from following their steps. Second, the employers should employ more scientific and reasonable recruiting methods to take the place of the old approach which only attached importance to diplomas and certificates. Spontaneous all-around ability tests, if possible, should be more often adopted along with person-to-person interviews. Third, the educators, with the help from all sides, should try their best to educate common students to be upright and hardworking. Actions speak louder than words—if authority and predecessors can prove honesty and diligence will lead to success and accomplishment, no young man will ever buy fake diplomas again.
