    There is a famous saying "Who aims at excellence will be above mediocrity; who aims at mediocrity will be far short of it. " It indicates that we should set ambitious goals in order to be successful.
    On the one hand, aiming high can prompt a person or an organization to work single-mindedly toward the target. Sometimes, if the goal we try to achieve is not challenging enough, we probably won’t try our best to accomplish it. But if the target is a little above our capabilities, it will motivate us to constantly make progress and work hard toward it. On the other hand, the aims must be reasonably achievable. If we are too ambitious and force ourselves to be someone we can never be or do something we can never succeed in, chances are that we won’t be able to find a way to realize our dream or we will give up halfway.
    Therefore, it is true that we should aim higher when setting our goals, but not too high for us to reach.
