    In the above picture, metaphor is employed to compare opportunity to the sand. The sand is leaking from the hand little by little, which symbolizes that in many cases opportunities are missed by us from time to time. Nowadays, many people strive for success but fail again and again. The reason, in my opinion, doesn’t lie in their capability, but their attitude and action towards opportunity.
    Everybody is sure to have encountered some precious opportunities throughout the life. However, some people manage to grasp the opportunities and succeed while others pass up the opportunities and achieve nothing. The reasons may be as follows. Firstly, opportunity only favors those who cherish it. Secondly, lessons in history tell us that only those who have captured chances and paid efforts can eventually achieve success. Last but not least, there are so many theories which prove the importance and scarcity of opportunity. We have no reason to underestimate any opportunity.
    In my view, there is no reason for us to neglect or desert any opportunity. Instead, we need to seize every opportunity. It is certain that if we grasp every opportunity and work for it heart and soul, we can definitely walk to the shore of success.
