   "Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it" is a proverb showing the relationship between knowledge and practice vividly. Apparently, this saying aims to deliver the message that if we want to master the knowledge we have learned, we ought not to stop practicing it.
   As for college students, practice is of great importance. There are two reasons accountable for this statement. To begin with, we can apply the knowledge we have obtained from textbooks to the solution of practical problems. By doing so, we can get more social experience. What’s more, the knowledge has become so growing-ly complicated that if we don’t practice it and ponder it over again and a gain, we cannot genuinely grasp the essence of it. Examples can easily be found to make this point clearer. Learning oral English is a case in point. Even if one is extremely familiar with the grammar of the language, he will never be a fluent speaker if he never opens his mouth and speaks.
   To sum up, practice is of great importance for those who are determined to learn knowledge well. It can not only assist us to get more social experience, but also help us remember knowledge better.
