答案     Should Parents Send Their Kids to Art Classes?
    Today, it is widely acknowledged that children should receive an all-round education. Therefore, many parents send their children to art classes to improve their self-cultivation. As a result, classes like calligraphy, music and dance training begin to thrive. However, as for this phenomenon, opinions vary from person to person.
    Some parents insist that children should learn something else besides the compulsory courses. They say it is beneficial for children to develop the ability which is associated with their success. However, many other parents do not agree. They hold that the subjects learnt at school are already heavy burdens for the children, so it is cruel to send them to art classes on weekends. There are a lot of important figures who have achieved great success with little education, not to speak of art training.
    From my perspective, it is not sensible for parents to send their children to art classes. On the one hand, parents always blame their children for getting low marks, but on the other hand, they send their kids to art classes which occupy a lot of their time so that they have little time to review what they have learnt at school. What’s more, some children are forced to attend art classes, which makes it impossible for them to develop any other interest.
