    "Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it. " is a proverb showing the relationship between knowledge and practice vividly. Apparently, what this saying aims to deliver is that if we want to have a good command of the knowledge we have learned, we ought not to stop practicing it.
    As for us college students, practice is of great importance. There are two reasons accountable for this statement. To begin with, we can apply the knowledge we have obtained from textbooks to the solutions for practical problems, which can help us get more social experience. What’s more, the knowledge has become so growingly complicated that if we don’t put it into practice and ponder it over again and again, we cannot genuinely grasp the essence of it. Examples can be easily found to make this point clearer. Learning oral English is a case in point. Even if one is extremely familiar with the grammar of the language, he will not be a fluent speaker if he never opens his mouth and speaks.
    To sum up, practice is extremely important for those who are determined to acquire knowledge well. It can not only assist us in gaining more social experience, but also help us absorb knowledge better.
