    Modern people are surrounded by advertisements. Yet the phenomenon of false advertising occurs now and then in our society. Some celebrities may appear in the advertisements that propagandize deceptive products, which brings about bad social influence. In many cases, they introduce or recommend the products to customers without doing careful research on the products’ quality. It’s urgent to solve this problem.
    In the first place, celebrities may have some influence on those customers who admire or respect them. So they should be aware of the social effects of their recommendation of commercial products. It is irresponsible for the celebrities to be involved in false advertising. Secondly, regulations should be made by government to combat false advertising. Last but not least, customers play the most decisive role in resisting false advertising.
