   Nowadays, a growing number of universities have launched the "student evaluation project", in which students are invited to evaluate the performance of their teachers. As part of education reform program, student evaluation is expected to be an effective means to help enhance the teaching quality.
   Different students may have different standards by which to judge their teachers. As a recent survey has revealed, some students focus on the teacher’s academic competence and class activities, some pay attention to the teacher’s personality and a sense of humor, while others care much more about the teacher’s personal hobbies. Sometimes even appearance may be taken into account as well for ridiculous reasons.
   As a whole, student evaluation project took a bold step in the university education reform process, which encourages students to get more actively involved in the class teaching, thus positively creating an interactive academic atmosphere. Nevertheless, many other problems may arise correspondingly. For instance, some students may be too critical about a certain professor just because the professor is not fun or he is too strict, which might have a negative impact on the impartiality of evaluation itself, misleading the reform orientation.
