Many teenagers are also equipped with this device(2) as their parents think the mobile phone can help them contact their children when necessary(3). Although it will usually costs about 1000 Yuan or even more, parents think it is worthwhile to buy one for their children.
    But as to this trend(4), there is also a lot of concern(5). Recently, teachers have been finding their students use the mobile phone to send messages in class, which will undoubtedly affect their study.. Even worse, the mobile phone has become a tool to show off: young students constantly ask their parents to buy new ones so that they can keep up with the latest fashion(6) or they can compete against other students’ new models.
