Dear Mr. Cruise,
    The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have accepted a position offered by Foreign Language and Teaching and Research Press as alt English editor.
    I want to express my appreciation for everything you have done for me here. It gives me pleasure to work with you and be employed as the translator in the past two years. Obviously this decision was not an easy one and involved several weeks of thoughtful consideration, especially related to my own plan for future.  Being an editor in Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press is my long-time goal. I hope you will respect my decision in this matter. I assure you that I will be here to fulfill my responsibilities until the next month. I do expect you can find a pro, per substitute to take over my responsibilities so that I can join Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press as soon as possible.
