    Many people cherish the motto that "silence is gold.". They always speak as little as possible in social meetings with others and hope other people will notice them first and find out their real capability. They do so mainly afraid, that if they talk too much they will make errors or appear aggressive
    However, nowadays if you always keep silence you will lose many chances to succeed. In this commercial society, people must be frequently in contact with each other. They need quick and smooth communication with their associates. And the must learn to introduce and expose themselves to those above them and around them For example if you don’t tell the employer your ideas and your good performances when you are hunting a job. you are unlikely to be accepted.
    Silence, therefore is no longer always gold. Anybody who wants tosucceed in his career must learn to display his ability and his courage and he must express himself loudly to make himself heard and understood.
