    I think the most effective way to create a nicotine-free environment would be to persuade smokers to quit smoking all together. The media should help promote the idea by reporting smoking-related diseases all the time. As for those who are not ready to give up the habit, it is important for them to realize that smoking in public places is not a personal matter but a public one. After all, it is up to the smokers to eliminate smoking in public places.
