    Online meal ordering is a growing trend especially in urban areas and on college campuses that allows people to order meals by use of their Internet connection. And it has been regarded as a new lifestyle that keeps abreast with time.
    The reasons for its popularity are diverse. First of all, it is a convenient way for people to enjoy life by ordering meals through Internet without lining up for a long time in the restaurant. Besides, stress from the growing pace of life discourages many young people from preparing a meal at home, which also contributes to its prevalence. However, this trend exerts a negative effect on those old-fashioned restaurants that are unable to provide online ordering. As a result, they are bound to suffer from a decline in business as well as profits.
    In my opinion, online meal ordering is a new business model; that is, it still needs more time to improve. I believe that it will be accepted by more people in the future.
