    Recently, it has been reported that a series of attacks on school children happened across China and several children were stabbed to death or seriously injured. The bloody attacks have become a matter of considerable public concern.
    In response to these attacks on children, a series of measures have been implemented to ensure security around primary schools and kindergartens. Firstly, many schools have set up their own school security teams which are equipped with necessary weapons. Secondly, security guards are stationed at the school gate and patrol around before and after school hours. Last but not least, visitors are required to be checked and to register at the school gate.
    In my opinion, these measures are not enough to solve the problem. Actually, the deep reason can be traced back to social problems. Not until we resolve these social problems can the hidden dangers be removed.
