答案     What the picture vividly depicts is that there are lots of network catchwords floating around a computer, and the people under the computer look at it with worship and admiration. This picture reminds us of the unique cultural product of the digital age—network catchwords.
    Nowadays, people have different opinions towards network catchwords. Some people reckon that the network catchwords are close to the general public, and they can make our communication more vivid and more lovely. While other people think that the abuse of the tampered network catchwords will lead to language confusion. From my point of view, network catchwords are barometers of the network hot spots. They can reflect the fashion and the edge of the times. The freedom of expressing on die Internet provides a platform for cyber citizens. This will inevitably exert certain influences and impacts on the traditional language and culture. For example, the old people can’t understand the frequent use of the network catchwords. Some parents complain that children use the network words in their writing and this will definitely do harm to their native language learning.
    Given the above argument, I suggest that our government should make a double standard on network catchwords use for different communication platforms. Only in this way, can we make good use of these popular words without having a negative impact.
