答案    As is shown in the graph, the number of Chinese tourists traveling abroad increases rapidly year by year. In 2001 there were just a little more than 10 million tourists who traveled overseas, while in 2013 that number has increased to over 90 million.
   Why did overseas tourism thrive in China? There are mainly two reasons. First, thanks to the flourishing economy, many Chinese people can afford to take trips to see different parts of the world. Second, an increasing number of foreign tourism organisations are using advertisement and special price reduction to attract Chinese tourists, which has effectively promoted the trend of overseas travel in China.
   As I see it, the growing number indicates that a good many Chinese nowadays can not only meet their basic needs but also have luxury enjoyment, which is a great economical progress. Besides, as overseas tours can broaden one’s horizon and increase cultural exchanges, it is a good phenomenon that more and more Chinese are traveling abroad.
