     (2) Most students are fond of reading news articles, because reading news is the best way to know the world outside and learn the fresh things. The story articles, through the fascinating story plot and vivid characters, give people a lot of imagination. Some students who love science will choose popular science articles, which can satisfy their curiosity for nature. As for the articles about learning methods, perhaps they are so dull and rigid that students can hardly take an initiative to read them.
     (3) Generally, college students choose the type of English reading materials according to their interests. Obviously, interesting articles can easily draw more students’ attention.
