    As the saying goes, if you have great talents, industry will improve them; if you have but moderate abilities, industry will supply their deficiency. This saying reflects the importance of industry.
    As far as I am concerned, the saying is true in two aspects. For one thing, due to industry, many talented people turn out to be great ones. The story of Sima Qian is a case in point. In order to write his great work Records of the Grand Historian, Sima Qian had travelled nearly all the places around the Yellow River and the Yangtze River to collect materials. For another, for people with moderate abilities, industry can supply the deficiency. For example, Isaac Newton was often laughed at by others at primary school because of his poor performance in study, but he turned out to be a great physicist through his persistent hard work.
    From what has been discussed above, we have good reasons to believe in the saying. In order to achieve more, we are supposed to be more industrious.
