     From the picture, we can see a wolf and a sheep are chatting through the Internet. They are talking heart to heart. The wolf is thinking how he can find a way to eat the sheep while the sheep is speaking to the wolf that she loves him. Isn’t it strange and ridiculous?
     With the fast development of information technology, Internet has played an increasingly important role in our daily lives. The kind of phenomenon described in the picture is very common and popular. Many people are fancying to find love or lovers through the Internet. There is a survey, which says that more than 90 percent of people who surf on line do nothing but chat and most of them are between the ages of 16 and 30. Why? There may be different reasons for it. One obvious reason is that these adolescents do not have any other things to do. They feel very void and want to find some stimulus from the Internet.
     It is true that computer network enables us to communicate freely with people from all over the world. People at the two ends of the computer network usually do not know each other so that cyber chatting room would be a relatively safe place to tell one’s secret. Someone do get consolation from friends online, but falling in love with a person whom you have never met before and know little about is very dangerous. A young handsome wealthy man online may well turn out to be an ugly poor guy, or even outlaws. A beautiful young lady may be an old woman. Numerous stories are read on newspapers that when net-friends encounter in the real world, a lot of people are taken advantages of by their vicious "friends". Just as what is described in the picture, when the wolf asks the sheep for an appointment, the sheep will certainly agree. What will happen following the meeting? The person who is talking to you at the other end of the line may well enough turn out to be a wolf.
     So, you should take care of yourselves and not to give others the chances to do harm to you. But anyway, the safest way is not to fall in love with anyone in the cyber world.
