Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf called on his fellow people Wednesday to maintain peace and stability. Violence gripped many parts of the country after former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s assassination on Dec. 27.
    He said that a Scotland Yard forensic team has been invited to help probe the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
    British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has agreed to send the team to help Pakistan in the investigations. His address came three hours after the decision by the election commission to postpone the Jan. 8 elections until Feb. Another major opposition party, Benazir Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party, however, announced Wednesday that it had not decided on what choices it would make on the postponement of parliamentary elections.
