    Due to the increasing pressure from the society, parents, teachers and peers, a larger number of university students are feeling depressed. Some of them even go to extreme and end their lives. To resolve this issue, I think the best way is to involve students in the community service.
    The benefits of the involvement are two-fold. First of all, students can make some friends in the process of serving the community. Usually, community services include visiting seniors’ home, helping those in need, and so on. Through different kinds of activities, students can make lots of friends with various backgrounds. When issues arise, these friends will shed different lights on the issues. Solutions could be found from a broadened and enlightened perspective. Secondly, by serving the community, sense of achievement will be established among university students. Usually, university students commit suicide simply for the reason that they do not think they are worthy enough to live on. If they are committed to the community service, they could see the difference they have made and find out the meaning of life.
    In conclusion, university students are encouraged to contribute to the local community. By doing so, they can find more friends and gain a meaningful purpose of life.
