But Valentine’s Day is a special day because it offers people the perfect opportunity to show or express their affection to someone they love. This day is named after a Christian priest who lived in 270 A. D. He was beheaded on February 14 because he secretly married many young couples, which was against the law of the Roman government. But the day he died became a day for people to express love to others.
