答案     People hold different opinions towards the education mode. Some people believe that boys and girls should be educated separately while others are in favor of the co-education.
    The people in favor of the former viewpoint believe that single-sex education can minimize students’ contact with the opposite sex and so, to some extent, prevent them from indulging in puppy love. However, those in favor of the latter viewpoint claim that co-education contributes to the balanced development of students’ personality. In co-educational schools, boys and girls interact freely with one another, thereby overcoming their defects in character, such as hesitation and shyness. What’s more, co-educational system provides both genders with an opportunity to understand and respect each other better. This would help create a better society by discouraging gender discrimination.
    I’m in favor of the latter viewpoint. Not only does co-education lead to a healthy and harmonious relationship between boys and girls, but also it contributes to the progress of our nation.
