When I was a little girl, I was interested in everything around me. When my friends were crying, I would share their sad feeling. When it snowed, I would go out and walk in the snow. But a busy life made me feel less eager to learn or share as 1 entered high school. I was a good student getting good grades, but I wasn’t a good friend. However hard it snowed, I didn’t look out of the window any more.
Finally I realized I was self-satisfied, and I wanted to get my old self back again.
Since then, attempts at experiencing and earning new things began. Thanks to this change in attitude, I could participate in the "Japan Future Leaders School" as one of five representatives of Korea. However, the process was never easy. The selection process was very long and thorough due to the scale of the event. Many people, including school teachers and parents, were concerned about my choice, saying I’d better focus on studying. It was a hard decision for me, too. However, I didn’t regret my determination. While spending three weeks with hundreds of teenagers from around the world, I learned how to be with others and be confident in myself.
After returning to Korea, I came up with a question that had been disturbing me for a long time— "What do I want to do with my future life?" For this, I started to challenge different things in various fields. I always knew the importance of sharing, but to put it into practice was another thing. So I worked as a volunteer in our district to help elderly and handicapped (残疾的) people. I also took a deep interest in science and technology, escaping from the school curriculum focused on humanities (人文科学) and social science. These wide experiences give me not only a wide range of knowledge but also a deeper understanding of myself and people around me. All my sense of achievement comes from efforts. [br] When making the decision to attend the "Japan Future Leaders School", the author________.
选项
A、was skeptical about her choice
B、made use of all available resources

解析
根据文中第二段倒数第三句、第四句“Many people, including school teachers and parents, were concerned about my choice, saying I’d better focus on studying. It was a hard decision for me, too. ”可知,作者在决定参加Japan Future Leaders School的过程中遭到了很多人的反对,故选D。
