答案     I have many friends and among them, there’re some who I’ve known for a long time. One such friend is James. He’s one year senior to me and I met him on the first day of our class in year 4. He sat beside me and I lent him one of my story books, so we came to know each other. We’re still friends. And apart from some very minor arguments, we remain still in good terms.
    I believe that James is a bit different from my other friends. First of all, he gives more importance to our friendship. While many others get occupied with their study and work, James on the contrary always keeps in touch, and so our friendship grows stronger with our regular interaction. Second of all, he’s taught me how to be true to ourselves and respect others. I never have to pretend anything in front of him, and we can comfortably continue any conversations no matter how different our views are.
    He’s working in a consultancy firm now and planning to settle in Canada. And I’m working on getting my master’s degree in a reputed local university. Busy as we are, we still try to meet each other in our free time and have conversations about different issues and topics.
    In our life, we have different types of relationships and friendship is one such important relationship that often lasts forever. Good friends are like brothers and sisters who will comfort you, guide you, and help you in your rainy days. James is such a friend who has done all those for me and a person that I know I can count on. He’s more like a family member to me than merely a friend.
