Israeli soldiers have shot and killed a Palestinian teenager during the second day of a massive security sweep in the West Bank city of Nablus. Israel’s military says the youth was about to throw a gas canister at the soldiers. But Palestinians said the boy had been throwing rocks at the troops. Soldiers sealed off the Old City Thursday and have taken over more than a dozen buildings. Leaflets passed out to residents say the troops are searching for six suspected militants.
