    You are Linda/Joe. You had an appointment with your teacher Mr. Blake, but you failed to keep it accidentally. Write him a note to apologize for this, explaining the reason why you did not make it, and asking for another appointment.
    Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness. Failure to follow the   above instructions may result in a loss of marks.

     I would like to express my apologies for not being able to keep our 11 o’clock appointment. I had a small accident on the way to school. I will come over to your office the day after tomorrow, at 9 o’clock, if it is convenient for you. I will’ check my email to see if you have left a note for me. See you then. With many apologies.
