答案     As is shown by the chart China’s people’s incomes and China’s people’s savings are increasing. In 1960 China’s people’s incomes increased by 4%, and saving rose by 4.5%. In 2000 incomes and savings grew by 27.5% and 30% respectively.
    Three reasons, in my mind, can account for this. First, China is richer and richer, thanks to various effective economic and political policies. So this promotes the incomes’ and savings’ increase. Second, people’s ideology is changing. Many parents save money for their child to receive an education, especially for higher education. And it is known that the tuition fees for higher education are a huge amount of money for some parents, so they have to save money. Lastly, saving money in the bank is safer than saving money in their own house.
    As far as I am concerned, the increase of incomes and savings does bring people a lot of benefits, but it also hinders the economy’s development; the more money saved in the bank, the less money people can consume. To put it briefly, I think the government should take some effective measures to guarantee its people’s incomes increasing, and at the same time to stimulate the economy’s development.
