W: So, Antonio, let’s talk a little about your work experience.  Have you had any experience of this type of job?
M: Well, I only left university three months ago. (23)But I’ve had lots of jobs during my summer holidays, because it’s important to get as much work experience as possible.
W: Good. . . good. . .
M: So in my holidays I’ve worked for travel agencies, you know, dealing with people’s questions over the phone,  taking bookings. . .
W: Right. . .
M: And I’ve taken jobs in factories, too. . . so I’ve worked in different kinds of places. (24)But I’ve also edited the student magazine—and it was great fun.
W: So what skills and qualities do you have?
M: I have a lot of enthusiasm, and I like working with people. I like that a lot. And obviously I have computer and telephone skills.
W: What are some of your strengths and weaknesses?
M: Hmm, can I talk about a weakness first?
W: Yes, of course.
M: (25)Well, I can’t drive—so I hope there isn’t any driving involved in this job.
W: No, there isn’t.
M: Great. And 1 think my strengths are. . . well, my enthusiasm, as 1 said before. And I think I’m good at dealing with customers and clients. In fact, I love talking.
