    There are more and more private cars in China nowadays. For example, wherever you go, you see people driving their own cars to and from work. As a result, it is difficult to find any parking space, particularly in the downtown area. For another example, you can often hear people talking about taking courses in driving schools. Many young couples con sider buying a car to be one of the first things to do after getting married. In short, private cars are no long luxuries and dreams as they used to be.
    There are a number of reasons why private cars are gaining popularity in China. To start with,  many people have become wealthy. They can afford to buy their own cars. Besides, with their living conditions improved, many people think that they should have more comfortable means of traveling. They are no longer satisfied with bicycles or motorcycles. Finally, new bank systems allow people to buy cars on installment. They can pay only a small amount of money for the car and pay the rest during the later years. Thus, more and more people have cars. ,
    However, some problems still exist concerning private cars in China. One problem is the traffic jam With so many cam being used, the streets have become very crowded. The number of accident has increased. Another problem is air pollution. Cars bring convenience to people but they also cause pollution. People are starting to complain of the smoke given off by cars. Fortunately, the local government has realized those problems and is trying its best to solve them.
