    In the era of information and technology, abundant recreational activities are available for people to release their strains and stresses.
    There is a heated debate over whether recreational activities are good for the public or not, especially for the college students. It is commonly accepted that recreation is helpful. For one thing, it can keep us healthy physically and mentally. For another, it goes without saying that various activities brought by modern technology have greatly enriched our experiences and brought much excitement to us.
    In contrast, others claim that these activities bring many problems. They point out that if people spend too much time on recreational activities such as sports and computer games, they might fail to concentrate on their studying and working, which may lead to further consequences.
    As for me, I hold the belief that recreational activities do more good than harm. They do give us a good chance to relax, and thereby, make us study and work more efficiently. It’s advisable to arrange the time reasonably and I’m sure we will benefit more from recreational activities.
